====== Recorder Information ======

To get information about your recorder, start a new [[:Data/compiledata|Data]] or [[:Audio/compileaudio|Audio]] compilation.\\
After that, you can open the recorder info dialog by using the toolbar button  {{:images:common:recorderinformationmedium.png}}
or go to **Recorder → Recorder Information** (Ctrl+R) in the menu.

Here you can see various information about your drive. You can also compare it with  our [[http://cdburnerxp.se/testeddrives|tested drives list]]. If your drive is listed there, it's likely to work with CDBurnerXP.\\
Note that the maximum burn speed shown here **depends on the currently inserted medium**.
